Translation I
The Path of Memories is the first and at the same time last publishing of Thou Shall Fall. A band founded on 1999 in Venezuela.
The short intro is a calm and tranquil ambient track, which thereupon is roughly and unsettling replaced by Destiny's Illness. The drums are hammering in the first instance pressuring and little machine-like. The atmosphere becomes abruptly dark and obscure. This is set up in the guitar's sound being rough and distorted. Inserting the first strophe it's getting more rhythmically but calmer and henceforth the distorted screech singing provides a morbid tension. Fast driving and sluggish passages alternate with each other, whereby constantly a certain dark atmosphere is maintained, as the guitars, being in the background, are playing subtle melodies.
To the Past... is a thoroughly slow song, whereby a leaden atmosphere is achieved, which is going through several nuances later on, because of the above all shrill guitar is getting slightly clearer and more distinct and so the melancholic melodies win more expressiveness. The closing Outro is less meditative than the intro. It's a short, indefinable melancholic sound passage, summarizing appropriately the wretched and oppressed tension of the preceding tracks.
The Path of Memories is a very interesting opus, because those two songs Destiny's Illness and To the Past... differ from each other structurally strong. So is the obsessed played drumming on Destiny's Illness with its harsh outbreaks comparable to Elysian Blaze's “Beneath Silent Faces”. To the Past.. is calmer and more reflective. Thou Shall Fall surrender well done music, but it's a pity, that this MCD is rather short and will be the only sound carrier.

Translation II
The path of memories is the first and at the same time the last release from Thou Shall Fall, a band founded on 1999 in Venezuela . An offering of raw and obscure Black Metal.
The short intro is a calm and contemplative ambient song which is suddenly removed by the distressing Destiny's illness. The drums hammers pressing and machine-like. The atmosphere becomes gloomy and obscure at once. This lies also in the sound of the guitar which is raw and distorted. As the first verse starts it gets rhythmic and however more quietly and henceforth the distorted vocal provides a morbid mood. Faster and slower passages alternate while a constantly dark atmosphere is kept, since the guitars, in the background, play subtle melodies.
To the past… is a constantly slow piece that achieves to a lead heavy atmosphere, which gets in the course some nuances from the guitar that starts violent and gets a bit more clear and distinct, and makes melancholic melodies get stronger. The final Outro is less contemplative than the Intro, it is a short, melancholic passage, with a non exactly definable sound, that sums up the desolated and oppressing mood of this recording.
The path of memories is a very interesting work because both songs Destiny's illness and To the past... have a strongly different structure. So that is, in Destiny's illness, sick-minded played drums with hard eruptions, comparable to "Beneath silent faces" from Elysian Blaze. To the past... on the other hand is more calm and reflective. Thou Shall Fall have delivered good music, only would damage is that the MCD is rather short and that will remain the only release.
