The Frost is an one-man-project from Croatia concealed a certain Grogor. In Conspiracy With Nature is the first publishing on MCD as a self production.
So you will think, oh, another band where is no use for but this nearby notion evaporates quickly when playing this record. The first beginning minute of the first title Ravens On The Bloodred Sky there is an atmosphere remembering legendary Darkthrone but after this all similarities disappear and The frost reveal on with well produced black metal not passing in omnipresent stereotypey of those average grimmy one-man-bands.
The three titel on In Conspiracy With Nature are well structured and know how to convince, they spray an authentic feeling. They give the impression that The Frost not falling into radical extremes as acting exceptionally grimmy and evil or exceedingly row and scornful. He keep an eye on a quality level concerning its musically demand and you ca feel this when listening.
For this publishing Gorgor uses a drum computer you recognize clearly by the synthetic sound. Programming is in order but this sound is the only weakness of the debute record. For the fuure Gorgors plan is to use a right drum an percussion set. In virtue of this you should keep your eyes open for The Frosts future.
