QRUJHUK- TRIUMPH OF THE GLORIOUS BLASPHEMY | RELEASED: 2006 | LABEL: KERZAKRAUM RECORDS

Behind the difficult pronounceable name Qrujhuk is concealed a certain Mr Helnakstav, who is also responsible for Infinite Hatred, whose record “Hatred Spell” came off well recently in one of my recessions.

Triumph of the Glorious Blasphemy starts with Winds of Curse Part I, a short instrumental introduction, where - as the title is announcing - sound effects of wind are heard. Blasphemous Flame starts relatively calm; a shrill-rough toned guitar performs a sequence of fast, simple riffs before the proper song inserts catching fast after one and a half minute. Now Helnakstav hand gets obvious at the latest. The exceedingly present guitar line, the numerous changes of rhythm together with there individual rhythms strongly sound as Infinite Hatred. Certainly Blasphemous Flame doesn't come along so grim and vehement as on “Hateful Spell”. There are some, in the case of Helnakstav, quite calm describable passages with certain melodic and dark-atmospheric parts.
Likewise quite moderate but not less bizarre, it continues with Unholy Forest , whose infancy with its rugged beat and simple but not extremely effective guitar has a light scabby 80s element. The rough prelude takes shape to an altogether sluggish rhythm that is wilful as habituated to and holds many changes. Evil Transfer is structured totally faster, although there is enough rhythmically shifting, it keeps giving slowly and dragging inserts. The guitar seems louder or being more present on Evil Transfer , which is lying in the partly catching playing. This is so far good and interesting, so it fits the music an easy to grasp touch. Darker and also more catching is The Truth , that predominantly affects in an easy to grasp driving rhythm and even the guitar aren't trusted forward, it sounds any darker and occasionally doomed. After the rather hard track Posers Killer from Hell follows with Natural Grimness the best song of the record. Natural Grimness is staggered quite diversified, sluggish variations are replaced from fast, hammering passages and in the middle of the song is calm and clear, atmospheric intermezzo.

Triumph of the Glorious Blasphemy could let be passed smoothly as an Infinite Hatred publishing, though Qrujhuk isn't completely violent and extreme. The songs are slightly structured simple and slower as on “Hateful Spell”. In this respect those both projects can be differentiated thoroughly, although characteristic similarities exist. Triumph of the Glorious Blasphemy is similar to 'Hateful Spell', a sombre, pitch-black and obscure fare that takes off strongly of the wide mass by its high level of originality and independence.
