BURZUM TRIBUTE ATTAKK | RELEASED: 2005 | LABEL: UNDERGROUND PROPAGANDA

The difference between Burzum Tribute Attakk and its hitherto opponents is caused in solity pure Black Metal of the Norwegian. That credits this publication because those Burzum 'Ambient' tracks have gotten on my nerves all along and they've been allways acted on former tribute publishings. Another fundamental sign is the throughout rough and rude sound quality of these contributions, so one failed. Affirmatively Burzum unseperable correlates with an analogous harsh acoustic.
At all there's nothing to say to each track. Each single interpretation was realized properly though it subtracts sporadically. Considerable independent accent or changes of the material they've renounced on complitely, only Lycanthropy's Spell let leaking out robustly their own atmosphere. Naturally not all acts reach quality and atmospheric density at the Burzum Tribute Attakk so Brazilian Ymber Autumnus' Dunkelheit cover sounds a little bit rugged. Entirely different is Nachtwraak's 'A lost forgotten sad spirit' which abovew all can gleam with its instrumental interpretation - maybe exceeds the original. Merely Nachtwraak's vocals can't join so he don't reach Vikernes tearing insistence.

All things considered Burzum Tribute Attakk is to my liking cause of its simplicity and roughness at all tracks that embody pure Black metal. There's no need of a discussion about sense and purpose of such tribute publishing, each of you've to reflect on that question himself. In substance Burzum Tribute Attakk can convince. The CDr production is published - in an unusual pasteboard - in a small edition of 150 copies.
